Ich habe vor kurzem von Deutschland in die USA zog, und ich brachte meine NSM Satellte Jukebox mit mir.

Ich möchte die Leistung von 220 Volt (Deutschland) bis 110 (USA) zu ändern.

Kann jemand helfen?

Hallo Bobby,

besorg Dir einen Trenntrafo 230V/ 115V- 500 W.
Den kannst Du auch umgekehrt benutzen (115/ 230 V).

You need something like this ( see pictures)
The brand is available in the USA (ofcourse there are also other brands)

To overcome the 50hz / 60hz problem ( turntable motor will run at a higher speed) you could use a simple potentiometer

Well , aint a potentiometer basically a variable resistor ?
One could also use the right resistor to bring down the current.
But please correct me if I am wrong for I have only basic knowledge when it comes to these issues.

Edit : only meaning bringing down the current to the turntable motor

Only trying to find an affordable solution , these voltage converters are about $20 to $30 in the USA.
A herz converter is a lot more expensive , not to mention the combination of both.

If the turntable drive system is similar to most other jukes you could also make the diameter of the top of the rotor smaller till you reach the right speed

NSM used in model Satellite the following Units for 60 Hz:

- Supply unit
- Junction plate ass.
- LP light organ ass.
- Ballasts

Maybe these parts can be found in USA from a parts machine.

Hello Bobby,
stay cool, your german is better than the german of some germans.
There is an unorthodox and relative cheap way to solve your power problem.
Take an 12VDC to 250VAC/50Hz inverter, connect the input of it to your car battery und the output to your NSM.
I tried that with my NSM Festival because I had no mains socket in my garage, it works fine.
Naturally you have to charge your car battery from time to time, the bigger the car battery is the longer you can enjoy your favourite music.

And if you use a large 120VAC to 12VDC Power supply, you don't have to use a car battery.
