Wurlitzer Lyric M 1964 ; rubber pad of the turntable is loose

My jukebox (Wurlitzer Lyric M 1964) has the following problem: when a record is selected, it is clamped but the rubber pad of the turntable is sticking out on one side.

As a consequence the record is not clamped entirely "flat" against the turntable (this is: compared to the steel shaft of the turntable) (but the record is indeed clamped by the three pins). The result is that the record starts "flying" and that the needle is not longer touching the record or that the sound goes "up and down".

Can anybody help me out and explain me how the rubber pad is functioning. Is it normally glued to the steel shaft? Can it be replaced? Does anyone know where I can find a spare part?
