Wurlitzer Niagara 2

Hi, I hope someone can help me with a WURLITZER Niagara 2 c1978 160 Selection Jukebox. The previous owner told me that it just stopped working one day and was put aside.
I’m new to jukeboxes but having some knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical equipment I thought I’d particularly like to get this machine working again. I have a copy of the service manual and after the obligatory clean-up and checking of fuses etc. I find the following:
On power up, Selection buttons G – 2 are illuminated and stay that way. All buttons can be selected and will lock with no change to anything. Buttons will cancel on removal of power. No other selections can be made
Record carrier is in the right position for selection (G – 2)
Amplifier is not mute.
When manually tripped, switch K8 (Gripper arm trip switch) the turntable motor operates.
Gripper arm is in rest position.
K1 (Play switch), K5 (Cancel switch), K6 (Motor circuit transfer switch) in rest position on actuating disc
Tone arm in raised position with the stylus inline vertically with the platter edge.
Load/Cancel and Service switches have no effect at this time.
There is no other activity.
Any ideas out there?

can you supply a photo which shows where the tonearm and gripper are?
If I understand right, it's still a playing sequence but not sure if I understand your description right.

Bei den deutschen Hilfesuchenden ist es ja schon eine Herausforderung heraus zu finden wo es klemmt aber bei Englisch schreibenden ist das echt Hardcore .
Wenn ich das alles so Lese dann ist mit 99% die Kurvenscheibe verdreht . Wahrscheinlich wie so oft an den Madenschrauben gebrochen . Sonst wäre der Verstärker nicht aktiv . Dieser ist nur eingeschaltet wenn der obere Mikroschalter an der hinteren Kurvenscheibe in die Kerbe eingerastet ist . Der TT Motor kann sich nur Drehen wenn der Greifarm zu gefasst hat dafür ist der Mikroschalter da und das sich der Platten Korb nicht drehen kann sobald der Greifarm nicht mehr in Ruhestellung über dem Korb ist . Eine Möglichkeit wäre noch das jemand die Maschine abgeschaltet hat mit Hilfe der Service Schalter und noch nicht in der passenden Position mal der Cancel Knopf gedrückt wurde . Denn eigentlich sollte selbst bei verstellter Kurvenscheibe der Getriebemotor wieder anlaufen sobald der Cancel Knopf gedrückt wird . Es kann aber auch sein das der Getriebemotor MM selber defekt ist oder die Spannung irgendwo dazu unterbrochen ist .

Hi Swen, Thanks for the advise... On closer inspection I found the actuating cam does indeed have 2 hairline cracks! 1 at each screw, causing the cam to slip. I will try to locate another one if they are available. Hopefully I won't have to resort to making one. I will update once this is done.
