Wurlitzer 1050

Bei dieser Jukbox wird die gewählte Platte bis an die Nadel ausgefahren und bei Berührung der Platte fährt diese ohne Abspielung wieder zurück.
Kann mir Jemand einen Reparaturtipp zukommen lassen.

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, macht die Musikbox eine Wahl, Plattenmagazin dreht sich, stoppt und holt die gewählte Platte raus und legt sie
auf den Plattenteller, der sich dann zu drehen beginnt. Wenn der Tonarm aufsetzt, wird die Platte zurückgelegt anstatt abzuspielen. Richtig?

Überprüfe mal den Tonarm-Endschalter ob der verstellt ist.

Leider habe ich keine 1050, aber wenn die Mechanik ähnlich der 1100 ist schau mal hier.
Bei meiner 1100 hatte ich auch dieses Problem.

Franz, die Wurlitzer 1050 (The Nostalgia) ist von 1973 und natürlich eine Box für 7“-Singles. Technisch ist diese Box mit einer Wurlitzer 1100 (Schellackbox) wohl nicht vergleichbar!

es hört sich so an, als ob die Endabschaltung aktiviert ist. Dann wird die Single auf- und ohne abzuspielen wieder weggelegt.
Mögliche Ursachen können eine Dejustierung des Endschalters, ein schwergängiger (verharzter Endschalter) oder ein defekter Mikroschalter sein.

Hello, I know what the problem is. One of my jukeboxes is a Wurlitzer 1050 and I am familiar with this problem. You must check the PLAY SWITCH on the back side of the main cam motor. There are 2 micro switches riding on that cam. The top one is the PLAY SWITCH, and the switch mounted further down on the cam is the PIN CANCEL SWITCH. Here is what you need to do: Remove the upper back panel from the machine. You will see a CAM which should be turning as the gripper arm brings the record from the magazine to the turn table. The PLAY SWITCH should be activated by the cam lobe as soon as the needle touches down on the record. This temporarily cuts the power to the main cam motor, stopping the gripper arm circuit until the TRIP SWITCH is activated at the end of the record. Check the PLAY SWITCH (top microswitch) to be sure that the switch actuator is being depressed by the lobe on the cam when the tonearm sets down on the record in play position. It may be that the switch itself is bad, or the actuator is not being depressed in sufficiently enough to actually trip the switch. Replacing the switch itself is easy enough, but the timing of the "make and break" cycle on the actuator can be quite tricky. You will need to position the switch exactly right so that it breaks the circuit at the presice time, not too soon. If too soon the cam motor will shut off before it advances enough to free up the tone arm travel, which will result in the tonearm not being able to travel to the end of the record and it will skip! On the other hand, if the timing of the actuator is just a hair too late, it may not actuate the switch, or it may allow the cam motor to advance too far causing the record to be returned without playing. Best to test the operation after replacing the switch by playing several records before you close the machine up and push it back against the wall, chances are you will need to adjust it at least a few times.
